WPHU’s 2025 Winter Wellness Campaign resources
The Western Public Health Unit (WPHU) has launched our 2025 Winter Wellness Campaign. We would greatly appreciate your support in amplifying these important messages across your networks.
The campaign runs from May to August 2025 and aims to reduce the harm caused by common respiratory infections during winter on our most vulnerable communities.
Key campaign priorities focus on improving:
- COVID and influenza vaccination for older people (aged 65+),
- Influenza vaccination for children aged six months to under five years; and
- Influenza, RSV and pertussis (whooping cough) vaccination for pregnant people (28-36 weeks and 20-32 weeks gestation respectively).
We would value your support in sharing these through your communication channels or at community events to help raise awareness and protect those most at risk this winter.
