Investigation of alleged incidents in childcare centres

You may have seen a public announcement about an ongoing police investigation regarding alleged incidents in childcare centres.

The Victorian Department of Health, in partnership with Victoria Police, is directly contacting families who may have been affected with key information and is providing advice on testing for infectious diseases.

You can call the dedicated advice line on 1800 791 241 (open 7 days a week, 8 am to 9 pm weekdays and 8 am to 5 pm weekends) to discuss whether your child should be tested and for advice on where you can book a free test near you.
