Gastro outbreak management

Gastroenteritis is one of the most common causes of outbreaks in early childhood education (ECEC) settings, aged care facilities, and food premises.

To help your setting respond quickly and safely, the Western Public Health Unit has developed a set of simple guides based on the Victorian Department of Health Guidelines. The guides explain what to do before, during and after a gastro outbreak, and include checklists and resources you can use.
